EJOT Corremaks screws for highly corrosive environments

Maximum attachment security with the highest corrosion protection

The new EJOT Corremaks: self-tapping screw for use in highly corrosive environments
(BUSINESS WIRE) Bad Laasphe, 03.01.2008, With the new product line offers Corremaks the fixing specialist EJOT self-tapping screws for highly corrosive environments such as swimming pools, parking garages and tunnels. This is made possible through the use of austenitic stainless steel (1.4529) as a material that matches according to the Admission of the German Institute for Building Technology (Z-30.3-6), the resistance class IV.

Through a special manufacturing process developed by EJOT reach the flanks of the screw EJOT Corremaks also a particularly high edge hardness. Thus, a process-safe screw in steel constructions possible to S320. Laboratory experiments demonstrate convincingly that the edge is sufficient hardness to form the internal thread itself. The thread flanks remain intact, so that is a necessary security for the permanent teeth of fastener and steel beams guaranteed.

EJOT Corremaks connects with the bolt and secure the economic benefits of thread-forming mounting screws with the sealing requirements for maximum corrosion protection wherever it is too high concentrations of chlorides, sulfur dioxide or other pollutants may lead concentration. The screw is technically approved (Z-14.1-4).
